Eddie spent 29 years with Milliken 
and since retiring has started five companies of his own. He joined GSM board in 2004, and remains active as a volunteer as well.

Rev. Kevin Koger has been GSM Executive Director since January 2006. Kevin is a 1983 graduate of Greer High School and received 
his BS degree in Administrative Management from Clemson University Class in 1989. Kevin 
John was elected to the Greater Spartanburg Ministry Board in 2013. Since he had supported 
Greater Spartanburg Ministry through prayer and donations, the desire to be more involved in the organization was a heartfelt and logical progression. 
John is the Controller for BOJ of WNC, LLC 
(Bojangles) in Arden, NC. He has over 30 years of 
finance and accounting experience and oversees the financial operations of 31 stores within the Bojangles franchise. He also volunteers at the Spartanburg 
Regional Hospice Home. He and his wife, Cathy, 
and their two children are members of New 
Beginnings United Methodist Church and reside 
in Boiling Springs, SC.
Sandra is Store Manager of the 
Bi-Lo at Hillcrest. Not only is she 
in charge of total store profits and conditions, she also manages 
100 Bi-Lo teammates. Sandra 
joined the GSM Board in 2012 because she, “wanted to support

Spartanburg native Frank Lee is a 1969 graduate of Presbyterian College where he earned his BA degree. He also earned his MA degree from Appalachian State University in 1970. Frank attends First Presbyterian Church and is 


Anita is a Quality Engineer at Jarden Plastic Solutions in Greer. She enjoys volunteering at St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic where she prepares and files clinic charts.

FRANK LEE

with meals for the weekends. Joan is Secretary of 
the Upstate Women of the ELCA and a Shepherd’s Center member. She enjoys the outdoors through gardening and hiking. Joan joined the GSM Board 
in January 2011 and volunteers with the Clothing Ministry and helps raise funds for GSM. Joan said she enjoys, “volunteering in a Christian Ministry, 
and helping the needy.”

Terminal Manager, and was Operations Manager for Private Truck Fleet. Kevin received his Masters of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary in 2005. Kevin was named Interim Administrator at Greer First Baptist in May 2005 until December 2005. Kevin is happily married with two daughters.

Frank enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, working in the yard or doing any handyman project and relaxing at the lake. Frank joined the GSM board in 2007.  What he appreciates most about GSM is “the direct, hands-on ministry to both body and soul.” He likes the fact that GSM, “operates at several levels, from the self-sustaining thrift store to the direct outreach from the food pantry. It also allows volunteers to participate in a variety of ways, at whatever level their life situation, abilities, and desires dictate.”

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP
with a
HEART FOR THE NEEDY.
With 40 years in education, Harold received his 
Batchelors degree from Wofford College and his Masters from Converse College.  He stated that his motivation to serve on the Board at GSM is to “help improve the lives of people in serious need of help 
in difficult times.” Harold is a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and is also in the travel 
business.


HAROLD BRIDGES
Brian L. Cannon was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Houston Texas. Brian and his wife Annette, who have been married for 45 years, are both alumni of the University of Texas at Austin. Following graduation, both Brian and his wife taught school in the Houston area. They have two children who were born in Texas but grew up in Gainesville, Florida, where they resided for 16 years. In 2003, Brian and his family moved to Boiling Springs where he began his career at QS/1 Data Systems, a Division of the JM Smith Corporation, as an Application Development Manager. In addition to his 2 children, Brian also has 5 grandchildren and attends New Beginnings United Methodist Church in Boiling Springs. Brian is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Thomas E. Hannah YMCA.

BRIAN CANNON
received her degree in Business from Columbia Business College in Columbia, SC. She also devotes her extra time to Champion for March for Babies where the past 7 consecutive years she has been their #1 individual fundraiser for Spartanburg County. Sherry has raised over $15,000 for this important charity. Sherry also enjoys the hobby of photography. When asked what attracted her to GSM her response was, “After several tours of GSM, I knew this is where I am to serve helping the Spartanburg Community. I feel that God has given me a light that I must use to help others that are having too many dark days. SGM extends their hand daily as God would to help others and this is why I want to be part of this amazing ministry.”
